Welcome to this website dedicated to the extraordinary British actor Tom Mison. Tom is known for his roles in Lost in Austen, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and Parade's End. Tom currently plays Ichabod Crane on the hit television series Sleepy Hollow. His recently released independent film Dead Cat is now available on VimeoVOD.
Tom participated in two Q&A panels at Dragon Con 2016 with new co-star JaninaGavankar, and you can watch both of them below. They talked about a wide variety of topics, from their approach to acting in general and other projects they've done, to more specifics about the show. Janina had only been working on the show for a few weeks, so she deferred to Tom on questions about prior seasons, but they were both able to give fans a little insight into her character and what they have in store for us moving forward.
A few spoilers were dropped here and there. For instance, we will be hearing the clatter of hoof steps when a certain evil-yet-beloved Headless Horseman makes an appearance at some point, plus we should be prepared for a monster of the arachnid persuasion. Also, the big bad of the season, played by Jeremy Davies, is not as much of a supernatural villain as we've seen in the past. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until early 2017 to see any of it, when the new season of Sleepy Hollow premieres on Fridays at 9pm.
Earlier this year at MCM Comic Con in Birmingham, Visual Voice Media sat down for a chat with Tom about the age old question of Marvel vs. DC, and answered questions about Sleepy Hollow as well as a few other topics. One of the most interesting bits of information we learn from it is that Tom likes a good curry. Oh, and he was asked to read for the role of Ajax, the villain in a little movie called Deadpool. Can you imagine?!
Unfortunately, Dragon Con has announced that Tom won't be able to make the panel on Friday, and his Friday photo op has been canceled as well. The good news is that Saturday and Sunday are still a go, so stay tuned for lots of fun stuff to be posted this weekend.
To see his latest schedule and the highlights from the weekend, check out the Dragon Con 2016 Highlights page. It will be updated with any changes in appearances or times, as well as photos, interviews, videos and more as they become available. A handy, quick link is over on the right in the sidebar for your convenience.
The sweet indie film Jadoo, which also goes by the title Kings of Curry, aired on BBC2 for the first time last night. If you missed it, the good news is that it is available for viewing on iPlayer. If you have access, you can still catch this foodie film starring Tom, Amara Karan, Harish Patel, and KulvinderGhir, with a special appearance by MadhurJaffrey, for another 28 days.
Be warned, you'll come away from this with some serious cravings, so have the delivery menus handy.
