Podcast: Tom Talks Bond

It's been a long, long year, but here is something sure to cheer us all and distract us for a bit - Tom's appearance on a podcast hosted by Sleepy Hollow creator Phil Iscove will be available on Monday, March 8th. Tom had previously made an appearance on an earlier episode of Phil's show Podcast Like It's 1999, co-hosted by Kenny Neibart, and it was hilarious. That podcast is dedicated to the flurry of excellent (and some not so excellent) films that were released in that year. Tom's take on Cruel Intentions can be found here, and is highly recommended.

Phil and Kenny brought Tom back for this new show, Podcast Like It's 1989 (same idea, different year) - this time for his take on License to Kill, Timothy Dalton's second turn as James Bond. It's available by subscribing to their Patreon - $4.99 will get you the audio version, $9.99 will get you the video. And, let's be honest, we're all going to want the video, if only for the hand gestures alone. You can subscribe here.

Everything I Wanted to Tell My Daughter About Men: Reading Raises Funds

On Thursday, Tom performed in a reading of the black comedy "Everything I Wanted to Tell My Daughter About Men," presented in association with Rise and The Circle. Actors joining him on stage included Saffron Burrows, Jason Isaacs and Oliver Chris. Profits from the performance will go towards supporting survivors of sexual abuse.

Everything I Wanted to Tell My Daughter About Men: Tom Joins Reading

It has been announced that Tom will take place in a live reading of the black comedy Everything I Ever Wanted to Tell My Daughter About Men, on Thursday, February 20th at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. The project was originally meant for stage, but then adapted into a film detailing a mother relating her relationship history backwards, exploring the results of a sexual assault on her choices and her relationship experiences, so her daughter won't repeat the mistakes she made. The reading is a fundraiser, with the proceeds going to survivors of sexual violence. For tickets, visit the Globe's website. For more information on the project, visit the film's website, tellmydaughter.com.

Wales Comic Con: Tom Appearance

In December, Tom was a guest at Wales Comic Con, in their new venue in Telford. He appeared both Saturday and Sunday, giving autographs and taking selfies at the table as well as the more formal photo ops. As usual, he charmed the crowd.

The fees charged for selfies at his table were passed on to the Crisis, a national UK charity devoted to ending homelessness. Many of the photos ended up on social media, proving the theory that Tom's long arms make for some great selfies!

Tom even made some new feathery friends, courtesy of Parrots and Pirates.
