Happy Birthday, Tom!

Happy 38th birthday to this tall drink of water. Not only is he exceedingly handsome, he's also stupid talented, kind and funny in the most British way possible, and an all-around decent bloke, which, given *gestures at the world* means a lot these days. Many happy returns to the one & only Tom Mison.

Watchmen: Heart Showbiz Hub Podcast

Tom stopped by (virtually, of course) the Heart Showbiz Hub with Ashley Roberts podcast to chat with one of the team - who just happens to be his London neighbor. Charlie's conversation with him covered Tom's Mysterious Island shoot with Patrick Stewart, his squinty-eyed likeness to Jude Law, and how to pick a naked blue body double. Click over to the podcast here. Tom's bit starts at about 15:42. Word is there may be more of the interview posted, possibly with video, so check back to see if that becomes available!

Watchmen: Watch It Free This Weekend

In honor of Juneteenth, HBO has announced that this weekend, from Friday, June 19th through Sunday, June 21st, viewers will be able to watch the Watchmen series for free on and VOD (video on demand), whether they subscribe to the channel or not. If you are a subscriber, the network will be airing a marathon of the series beginning on Friday at 1pm ET/PT. HBO Max subscribers already have access to the series.

Juneteenth celebrates the ending of slavery in the United States. In Galveston, Texas, on June 19th, 1865, Union soldiers landed with news of the end of the war and the Emancipation Proclamation, over 2 years after President Lincoln's executive order.
