Another new project has been announced for Tom!  He will be starring as Isaac in The Faithful, along with Alexa Davalos who plays Rebekah, in a limited series from Fox based on the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament. The series will premiere on March 22nd, and run for three weeks to Easter, with two 1 hour episodes each week. The whole series will feature stories told from the perspective of 5 women. An article in Deadline summarized the character of Isaac:

"Isaac is burdened by an inheritance he didn’t ask for and haunted by a faith he both fears and yearns to understand. The son of Abraham and Sarah, he’s a man deeply shaped by his near sacrifice from his father’s hand at God’s instruction."

Tom Payne and Ben Robson play Isaac and Rebekah's sons, Jacob and Esau.
