Sleepy Hollow wrapped shooting for Season 2 on Wednesday, but before Tom winged his way back to the UK, he was nice enough to take part in a conference call with several journalists. He was peppered with questions about the upcoming changes  to the show (which we should start to see with this next episode), what else we can expect to see in the remaining episodes this season and even a little bit about why he became an actor:

Did you always want to be an actor?

When I was young I wanted to work in a zoo. I remember going to a zoo and seeing some horrible kid feed the penguins, and I wanted to feed the penguins but I wasn't allowed. So I thought, I'm going to work in my own zoo and feed the bloody penguins every day. Then I realised out hard it is to work in a zoo and said no, I'm going to flounce about on the stage instead. The zoo thing was purely out of bitterness. I decided to follow a more positive career choice.

When asked about his plans for the hiatus, he mentioned something about a beach and a stack of books. He also said that, sadly, the hiatus was too brief to allow for any theater roles. Sad for fans, but after working 16 hour days, 6 days a week for over 8 months, he certainly deserves this well-earned break.
