Tom had a chat with Marisa Roffman from Give Me My Remote about the Sleepy Hollow finale and he gave her some great insight into what we can expect from Monday's episode. Time travel is always tricky, but it turns out we needn't get anxious about how it will be handled:

"I'll admit, I was worried," Mison acknowledged. "When time travel comes into anything, there's the possibility of it becoming very, very confusing. There's the possibility if you start to try and pick [the story] apart, it will fall to pieces. But then I found out the way around it [with what the writers are doing], and I thought, 'That's brilliant. That's a brilliant way around all the the intricate difficulties of time travel'...I think they dealt with it in a very smart, simple, clean way."

He goes on to say that we'll be seeing a very different Ichabod in the 18th century than the 21st century version we're used to, and how being able to explore that part of the character for longer than just a quick flashback or two was "such a treat." Reading the interview, you get a real sense of how well he has crafted the role, and the nuances he's put into it that may not necessarily be picked up on consciously, but make it such a remarkable performance overall. The Sleepy Hollow finale "Tempus Fugit" airs this Monday at 9 pm/8c on FOX.
