Jadoo Release Pushed Back

Thanks to an update on the Jadoo blog, we've now learned that they have reevaluated how/when they will release the film, due to its success at the Berlin Film Festival!

"The success of the film at the Berlinale prompted invitations from over a dozen festivals worldwide. As a result we have re-assessed the release strategy to focus on these festivals and use the momentum and interest generated before the UK release later in the year.

First up on the festival circuit is New York where Jadoo will be having its North American premiere as a special screening at the New York Indian Film Festival early May."

Cinevue Reviews Jadoo

The first full review of Jadoo is in - and it sounds like a hit!  Cinevue gave the film, which premieres at the Berlin International Film Festival tomorrow, three stars.

"Jadoo is a warm comedy that neatly balances its specific and more general themes and is liberally seasoned with laughs."

Jadoo Screens on February 14th at Berlin Int'l Film Fest

Jadoo will have its premiere public screening at the Berlin International Film Festival (Culinary Cinema) on February 14th at 7:30 pm at the Martin Gropius-Bau Theatre.  It is part of a line-up of sixteen films about food and the environment that will be shown at the theater from February 10-15.
